I finally got to sit down and make a card again after a crazy week. But for some reason I find it hard to choose papers and colors these days, so I asked for a little help and got the assignment to make a card with the theme "Autumn". Really simple. So I made this card from the challenge at "Ett Trykk" this month.
Designpaper: Websters and Maja design
Sentiment: Hero Arts
Flowers from WOC and Papirloftet

;-) I mellomtiden melder jeg meg i alle fall på That's just so cute sin utfordring #13.

I dag *today*This (second picture) will be my entry for the following challenges:Paper Sundaes Challenge #35
Scrappekammeret Utfordring #14
Kort 'O' Mania Bursdags Blogg Hopp
One year ago, almost to the day, I delivered what I consider my first card as a card maker. I had made a few cards before, but it was (even) more "pre-school-cut'n'glue" kinda thing. In the last year I've learnt a lot and grown with my hobby and my stash of stuff has grown way over my head! *lol* But seriously, I love doing this and look forward to many more years with many more cards and a lot more to learn and try out.

Creativity has been slow lately, (which could be connected to my nasty cold) but today I had to grab myself by the neck and do something. So I made this card for Sketchy Colors challenge #38, red and turqouise. It'll also be my birthday card for Kort 'O' Mania.

Apparenty I'm not the only one who's been missing challenges for kids, so Kaylou from Kraftywheezle and Debs from Frecklesplace has taken the matter into their own hands and started their own challenge blog for kids under 16, Messy's Mini Missions. The first challenge starts at October 1st and I know someone who's looking forward to that! In the meantime she has accepted the first mission and commanded her mother to spread the word throughout blogland and by that she takes a number in the fab opening candy they have.
The days are flying by and as usual I'm last minute for a challenge. This time in the forum Kortscrapping, where the challenge was a card neither round nor squared. I found the idea of a teacup card here, but modified the template a little so the card would open. I'm entering this at Scrappekammeret too.

I've had a major cleanup in my paper stack. It's great to have some overwiew again! I whipped up this card with scraps I found and after the sketch at Mojo Monday. Now I'll continue my lovely Sunday with some physical activities. Have a nice evening!

I was planning major production this weekend since I was finally all done with the last two orders and free to do whatever I wanted. But with a sick child in the house I didn't get to produce much. But I got to do some. I made this card after Laura's sketch #60 at 2S4Y and the color combo red, white and gold is challenge #53 at Color Create. And since anything goes at Scrappekammeret I'll join there too.
And for my foreign readers, the text on the card is a quote by Goethe wich translated means something like: "Magic is to believe in yourself. If you can do that you can make anything happen".

I guess I have to learn to follow my instincts when it comes to cardmaking, because every time I start to think toomuch on a card it just messes things up. After a while I get completely blocked and the card takes forever to make! At least it feels that way. For days I've been thinking and planning and sketching and testing on this card and finally I ended up with my very first idea. This will be my entry for Challenge #14 - Anything goes at Scrappekammeret.

I'm really stuck with a card I'm making and needed to get my mind off it for a while, so I made a few adjustments on the blog. Feel free to let me know what you think!

New Norwegian challenge blog
Personally I don't think there can be too many - at least not in Norwegian, so I welcome Kreative Krumspring with open arms and look forward to the first challenge at September 9th. Until then I'll draw a number in their RAK and hope more will do the same. Good luck!
*Another result of my second creative Saturday. This is another entry for the C&S challenge at Sentimental Sundays.*

Looks like Saturdays are gonna be my creative time now that we're back to routines and everyday life, 'cuz today I'm havin another creative Saturday. This time it's an entry for challenge #36 at Sketchy Colors, red/orange/yellow. A real challenge for me, since I usually stay far away from these colors! *lol* But I dived deep into the "archive" and found some of the oldest patterned paper I've got, some equally old craft ribbon and combined it with a brand new Hero Arts stamp I got the other day and the chipboard buttons I got in the candy from sweet Marianne (Sakkalo), they came in the mail today! (Thanks so much, Marianne! I'm really gonna enjoy myself with all the delish stuff! ;-)) Then I combined the whole thing with Kazan's Sketch #60 at 2S4Y, topped it with the C&S challenge at Sentimental Sundays and voila!
I don't remember excactely what I was thinking that day in March when I started blogging, but it was definately not that I would publish my post no# 100 some day! But here I am, post no# 100 after almost six months in the blog world. And more to come! I really enjoy blog country with all the challenges and candies and all the nice bloggers I "meet". I even got my very own followers, which I definately never would've thought! I really appreciate all of you and all the sweet comments I get! I just have to get better at commenting myself!
So, over to the card for today: It's not no# 100, I actually passed that a while ago! ;-) I made this card last night, but when I was done I was so tired that I had to go to bed before I got to post it! *lol* The card is really an order for a christening card, but I'm not sure it's what the customer expected, so I might make another one...

A quickie today. The post that is, not the card. ;-) The days just fly by with way too much to do and not enough time so I almost forgot to show the third card I made this Saturday! It actually took a while with this card and it didn't turn out like anything I had planned, but still... the recipient was happy so I guess I have to be too! ☺
