Grønt telyskort

Det ble ganske mange slike telyskort i år og enda har jeg flere igjen å lage. De er jo så herlige som små gaver til venner og familie! *I made quite a few of these tea light cards this year and I've still got more to make. They are such qute little gifts for friends and family!*

Denne gangen ble det et i grønt av noen riktig så gamle ark fra Kreativ Hobby. Stempelet er nytt av i år fra Kort og Godt. Enkel dekor med et par snøkrystaller, grener og blomster. *This time it's a green one with some really old papers from Kreativ Hobby.*

Innholdet er som alltid tre telys, tre-fire teposer og en dekorert fyrstikkeske. Og venstre side har et skrivefelt til en liten personlig hilsen. *The contence is as always three tealights, three-four teabags and a decorated matchbox. And the left side has a place for writing a personal greeting.*

På baksiden har jeg brukt mitt personlige Raggsocka-stempel, med et lite Kreativ Hobby-stempel i midten. *On the back I've used my personal Raggsocka-stamp with a small stamp from Kreativ Hobby in the middle.*

Pink Mojo-licious xmas

Mojo Monday serverer igjen en lekker skisse og jeg måtte bare la meg inspirere. Jeg hadde ikke akkurat planlagt å lage et rosa julekort, men disse lekre arkene fra Vibeke Spigseth skriker jo etter å bli brukt. *Mojo Monday is again serving up a fab sketch and I just had to let myself be inspired. I didn't exactely plan on making a pink christmas card, but these yummy papers from Vibeke Spigseth are just crying to be used.*

Kantene er svertet med Fluid Chalk Creamy Brown. Borden er stanset ut med MS Swirling Lace kantpunch på hvit kartong. Denne kartongbiten har også fått en stripe ark fra samme blokka som det rosa arket, en sølvstripet Washi tape og en bitteliten stripe av bakgrunnsarket. Teksten er fra Kort og Godt og er stemplet med Memento Desert Sand i en Spellbinders labels fourteen die cut og svertet forsiktig med Distress Ink Antique Linen. Snøfnuggene har fått Stickles på seg i fargen Frosted Lace og perler i midten. *The edges are sponged with Fluid Chalk Creamy Brown. The border is punched out with MS Swirling Lace edge punch on white cardstock. This piece of cardstock also got a strip of paper from the same paper pad as the pink paper, a silver striped Washi tape and a tiny strip of the background paper. The sentiment is from Kort og Godt and is stamped with Memento Desert Sand in a Spellbinders Labels Fourteen die cut and carefully inked with Distress Ink Antique Linen. The snowflakes have got Stickles on them, colour Frosted Lace, and pearls in the center.*

Here's what I made for the Christmas challenge. Not exactely traditional, but what can I say, I have a purple passion! *lol*

 

It's another tea light card with papers from the new Vibeke Spigseth collection from Panduro. The new Spellbinders dies and Waltzingmouse Stamp set has been taken to good use. I just love how versatile the stamps are! The "God jul" inside the ornament is from Kort og Godt.

Inside as always with tea lights, teabags and a matchbox to match the papers.

 

In the back I've used my "Raggsocka" personal stamp from Rox stamps. Again an incredible versatile stamp. This time I've combined it with a small ornament stamp from Waltzingmouse and a little bling.

En herlig avslappende dag i dag. Mannen er endelig hjemme etter en ufrivillig forlengelse på en jobbreise og jeg fikk sitte i ro og fred på lekerommet en stund. *A wonderful relaxing day to day. Hubbie is finally home after an involuntary extended business trip and I got to sit in peace and quiet in my playroom for a while.*

 

Jeg tok utgangspunkt i skissen hos Mojo Monday. Motivet er et stempel fra Panduro, fargelagt med ProMarkers farger fra Spring Collection (Morning Mist, Fresh Meadow, Budding Rose og Blender). Arkene er fra en blokk jeg har hatt liggende i årevis, men sjelden tar meg råd til å bruke, V&A "Hannoverian Sheet Linen". Jeg har svertet kantene med Fluid Chalk og sydd rundt kantene. Blomstene er fra WOC og Papirloftet. Satinbånd fra lageret mitt og seambinding fra WOC. Tag'en og swirl'en er begge Magnolia dies. I tillegg har jeg brukt et par metallhjørner fra Kort og Godt og en kakeserviett fra Wilton. *I took a que from the sketch at Mojo Monday. The image is a stamp from Panduro, colored with ProMarkers colours from the Spring Collection (Morning Mist, Fresh Meadow, Budding Rose and blender). The Papers are from a pad I've had around for years but rarely can afford to use, V&A "Hannoverian Sheet Linen". I've inked the edges with Fluid Chald and sewn around the edges. The flowers are from WOC and Papirloftet. Satin ribbon from my stash and seambinding from WOC. The tag and the swirl are both Magnolia dies. In addition I've used a couple of metal corners from Kort og Godt and a doily from Wilton.*

En deilig vinterdag

Etter uker med varmegrader, kuling, regn og ruskevær, laver snøen nå stille ned og det begynner å ligne jul ute. Så når jeg fikk meg en uventet fridag, passet det bra å pynte litt til jul i bloggen.

Jeg har også fått gjort ferdig noen tager i dag. Disse begynte jeg på i forrige uke da jeg hadde juleverksted med noen små og store hjelpere. Egentlig lagde jeg dem bare for å demonstrere teknikken jeg har fått dilla på, den samme teknikken som jeg har brukt på dette kortet og dette kortet, men jeg fant ut at jeg like gjerne kunne gjøre nytte av dem. Så jeg stemplet på oppskriften på en deilig vinterdag og brukte emboss-resist teknikken. Pyntet med litt bånd og en snømann-charm og sånn ble det:

After weeks of warm weather, wind, rain and really bad weather, the snow is now falling quietly and it's beginning to look like christmas outside. So when I got an unexpected day off from work I thought it would be good to decorate my blog for christmas.

I also got to finish some tags today. I started these when I had a few helpers over for a christmas workshop last week. I actually made them just to demonstrate the technique I'm sort of hooked on these days, the same technique I used on this card and this card, and so I thought I might as well make use of them. So I stamped on the recipe for a lovely winter day and used the emboss resist technique. Decorated with a few ribbons and a snowman charm, and this is how it turned out.

Supplies:

Paper: Manilla tags (unknown)

Stamps: Snowflakes and corner stamp (Ladybug and friends), tiny snowflake (Kreativ Hobby), Oppskrift på en deilig vinterdag (North Star Stamps)

Ink: Distress Ink - Stormy Sky and Embossing Ink (Ranger)

Other: Embossing powder - Clear and Silver (Ranger), Glimmermist - Pearl (Tattered Angels)

Det er ikke ofte jeg gjør det samme prosjektet to ganger, men denne gangen ble det sånn. En jentevariant av dette kortet.

Secretly in love

Jeg er forelsket!! Og har faktisk vært det en stund, men jeg har holdt det hemmelig.
*fnis* Lurer du nå? Min store forelskelse er Magnolia-ark! De er såå herlige! Fargene, strukturen, kvaliteten.. *sukk* Problemet er bare at de er så nydelige at jeg ikke har lyst til å bruke dem! Det betyr at disse nydelighetene bare blir brukt til spesielle anledninger, og min mors bursdag er en nokså spesiell anledning. Så dette ble kortet til henne:

I'm in love!! And has actually been for a while now, but I've kept it a secret.
*giggle* Are you wondering now? My great love is Magnolia papers! They're soooo gorgeous!! The colours, the texture, the quality.. *sigh* The only problem is that they're so beautiful that I don't want to use them! That means these beauties are only for special occations, and my mother's birthday is a pretty special occation. So this was my card for her.

Testing Techniques

I dag har jeg innvilget meg en fridag fra både jobb og husbygging og har kost meg masse med kortlaging. Jeg har prøvd ut forskjellige ting som har stått på gjørelista mi ganske lenge. Jeg har til og med børstet støv av symaskina!! Men det var til et annet prosjekt som jeg skal vise fram senere. ;-) På dette kortet har jeg brukt bølgepapp som har fått en grundig omgang med turkis Glimmer Mist. Og både bølgepappen og blomsten fikk en spray med Pearl Glimmer Mist, for litt ekstra "glam". Kortet er laget til utfordringen hos Anonyme Scrappere, hvor utfordringen er å lifte DT Anette.

*I've granted myself a day off from both work and housebuilding and I've really been enjoying myself making cards. I've been trying out different things that's been on my to do list for a long time. I've even dusted off the ol' sewing machine!! But that was for a different project I'll be showing off later. ;-) For this card I've used corrugated cardboard (??) that got a thorough spraying with turquoise Glimmer Mist. Both the cardboard and the flower got a splash of pearl Glimmer Mist for a bit of extra "glam". The card is made for the challenge at Anonyme Scrappere where the challenge is to scraplift DT Anette*

Årets julekort

Det kan vel ikke regnes som årets beste julekort, men et julekort likevel. Det første fullførte denne sesongen og forhåpentligvis blir det mange fler i dagene som kommer. Jeg har innsett at jula kommer altfor fort (igjen!), så nå må jeg virkelig henge i om jeg skal rekke alt jeg skulle gjort.
Dette blir iallefall mitt bidrag til Årets koseligste juleutfordring hos Anonyme Scrappere, og siden jeg har et tekststempel fra Kreativ Hobby på forsiden, kan jeg melde meg på utfordringen "Årets julekort" der også. :)

It can't be considered as the best christmas card of the year, but it's still a christmas card. The first one finished this season and hopefully there'll be many more to come. I've realized that christmas is coming far too soon (again), so I'll really have to hurry up if I'm gonna get everything done.
Anyway, this'll be my entry for "Årets koseligste juleutfordring" at Anonyme Scrappere and since I've got a sentiment from Kreativ Hobby, I'll enter the challenge "Årets julekort" there too. :)
