Awesome, right? Well then let's get on with it!
This weeks challenge is Monochrome. Shouldn't be too hard to start off the new year with.
I have to admit that my perfectionist inside would have wanted the first post of the new year to actually be the first card I made this year, but realities are a bit different. I'm still not all well after more than a month of back problems and all kinds of germs attacking, so this is a card I did right before christmas.
It's another chocolate card, only this time in a larger version made for a 200 gram chocolate bar. The tutorial is based on Marianne's, but Wenche has adapted the measurements for the bigger bar. I have to say that I found the measurements a little tight, so when I make my next one I'll try to adapt them even better.
I've used the gorgeous papers from Pion Design along with a large Sizzix die, Magnolia dies for the poinsettia and the swirl, and MS punches for the pine branches and snowflake.
A little closer you can see I've added a tiny touch of bling. The sentiment is from Norsk Stempelblad. (Warm christmas hug and many good thoughts.)
Inside I've used an MS edge punch for the pocket in which the chocolate bar fits. I must have forgotten to snap a photo of the chocolate in place. A bit of stress before I had to send it off I guess.
So that's what I had for you today, now it's your turn. Hop on over to the challenge blog to see what the other girls have been up to.

Åh, hvor er den fin! Det sarte Pion papir er så yndigt og så fine die-cuts også. Virkelig fint.
