Spring is in the air

Her flyr det alle mulige slags basiller i luften, og ispedd en dose vårluft så ender man opp med et slikt kort.

Dette kortet laget jeg til tredje runde i Kort-O-Mania på forumet scrapping.no, hvor oppgaven var å lage noe som ikke var firkantet eller rektangulært. Det er utrolig sjelden jeg lager kort i andre fasonger, så dette var nok en utfordring for meg. Men jeg øvde jo litt i helga. Det resultatet kan du se her. *I made this card for the third round of Kort-O-Mania at the forum scrapping.no, where the task was to make something not squared or rectangular. I very rarely make cards in other shapes so this was another challenge for me. But I did practice a bit over the weekend. You can see the result here.*

Nærbilde av den lille tagen jeg punchet av samme mønsterark som øvre del av kortet. For å fremheve den litt mer, brukte jeg litt Glossy Accent. Underveis fant jeg ut at jeg heller skulle hatt Crackle Accent. Men siden jeg ikke eier noe sånt, og jeg allerede var halvveis med Glossy'en, ble det en hjemmelaget variant. :-)

*Closeup of the little tag I punched from the same patterned paper as the upper part of the card. To make it stand out a little more I used a bit of Glossy Accent. During the process I found out I should've had som Crackle Accent. But since I don't own anything like that and I was already halfway through with the Glossy, I went for a homemade version. :-)*

Kanskje litt vanskelig å se, men det jeg gjorde var å dra en nål over laget med Glossy, for å ikke få for tykt og blankt lag. Så brukte jeg nålespissen til å lage litt "sprekker". *Might be hard to see, but what I did was to drag a needle over the layer of Glossy to make it thinner and not so shiny. Then I used the needlepoint to make som "cracks". Complete list of supplies as usual on the bottom of this post. Also remember my giveaway! Link in the sidebar at the right. :-)
