En juvel

I had an idea
It's propably not just me who's had an idea in mind and then it just doesn't turn out the way you imagined, and not in a good way. This was that kinda card. The idea was there, but when I put it all together it didn't look the way I imagined at all. Sort of feels like there's something missing. But it'll have to be the way it is, 'cuz it's being delivered to my sister in the morning.

Identitetskrisen fortsetter
I've previously claimed that my cardmaking style is "more clean and simple than anything else".. Can I claim "no rule without exception" in this case? Far from CAS, but still very me.
And when I saw Challenge #40 at Kort-o-Mania I thought "finally something for me!" Because no matter what style I'll land on, on thing is for sure: I'm not a motif stamper!
Also entering PaperPlay w19 - Anything goes.

This is me
*I came across a challenge last week that was called "Show us your style". I thought that sounded really exciting since I'm currently going through an "identity crisis" of some sorts when it comes to my cardmaking style. I decided to make something I felt was "all me" and ended up with this:*

Litt magi
Mitt bidrag til Kreative Krumspring - KK17.
************
I never sieze to be amazed by all the fabulous creations one can get out of a piece of paper. My skills isn't exactely anything to brag about, but the possibilities are present so one simply has to try. I've tried a teabag card this time. A cute little gift I think and hope the recipient thinks the same! :)

Testing Techniques - part 4
This spring I've got to check off a lot of things that's been on my list over things to try out. Painting on cards has been on the list for a long time. And when gesso and acrylic paint was already bought for the easter eggs it was all set.
The corrugated cardboard was lying around after I bought new plates and the cardboard was in between the plates. I inked the cardboard with Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain and slipped a distressed tag underneath. Then a little more paint on the cardboard and a leftover piece of punchinella. But I thought it looked too shiny, so I brushed a little paint on that too. Not so much that it shows on the photo, but enough to keep it from looking brand new. :)
And then the buttons. One of the smaller buttons was a shimmering grey thing. I attacked it with sanding paper, paint and ink. And when that was done, the other ones looked too shiny, so I brushed a little paint on them too. Finally I stamped the sentiment with alphabet stamps and white Fluid Chalk, and that was it. :)
This will be my entry for the following challenges:
PaperPlay Challenges week 17 - Use an object not intended for crafting (Cardboard from plate packaging)
Cards for men No 9 - Circles
